Elon Musk and Donald Trump: election night, November 2024

It’s the eve of the US mid-term elections.

And the Trump Republicans have already been playing the usual game of casting doubt on the legitimacy of the process before any of it has even happened.

This same strategy of pre-planting those seeds of doubt (to fuel conspiracy theories and essentially provide the pretext for rejecting undesirable results) has been a central fixture of every election the Trump movement has been involved in to date, including even the one they won in 2016.

Among various other tactics, Trump himself has offered a $1 million reward to anyone able to spot and report signs of voter fraud: the idea obviously being to create a surge in such reports, which he can then use to refute results that don’t go his way.

But with concerns growing about various underhanded operations in the imminent mid-terms, it’s worth revisiting the election that actually secured Trump his second term in 2024.

It didn’t get as much coverage as it probably should’ve, but questions about the integrity of the 2024 US Presidential Election were surfacing again a few months ago.

Now it was because of comments being made by Ashley St Clair, Elon Musk‘s ex partner: and mother of one of his many children. St Clair had been appearing in interviews, talking about how Musk’s private communications with her at the time of the election had indicated foul play.

She referred to, among other things, conversations he’d had with her on election night, suggesting he’d had access to sensitive election information that he shouldn’t have: his “anomaly in the matrix” was how it was referred to.

She also referred to “real-time” election data that Musk was getting from somewhere.

Musk obviously denied all of this, calling it ‘nonsense’.

But most of what his ex girlfriend was hinting at is stuff I had already raised the alarm over back in 2024: including the possibility of Starlink having been part of a possible fraudulent operation.

Recall that Musk was sat with Trump for some time during the vote counting on election night. And then he left early.

But for a considerable length of time it was just Musk sat with Trump on election night. Why? Did Trump need him close by for updates? It was a conspicuous sight.

As I noted here right after the November 2024 election night, Musk had also made curious comments to Joe Rogan about a special ‘app’ he had that had enabled him to know vote counts before the actual results were announced.

Oddly, Rogan never pressed his friend on this. And never brought it up again. But shouldn’t there have been more interest in what this special app was?

Moreover, here in this article from February 2025, I asked about this very curious statement by Trump, regarding Elon and the election. The president had said ‘… he knows those computers better than anybody. All those computers. Those vote-counting computers. And we ended up winning Pennsylvania like in a landslide. So it was pretty good, pretty good. So thank you to Elon.’

What the hell did that mean?

It was by no means the first curious thing Trump had said regarding the election: there was his pre-election statement about having a ‘secret plan’ with Republican Speaker Mike Johnson (which I drew attention to here).

The point is that there were suspicious things from the very start regarding Trump, the election and the involvement of Elon Musk.

But the media in general chose not to pay attention – neither did the political opposition.

Leading me at the time to ask whether both the media and the opposition had in fact knowingly complied with a corrupted election.

It was only much later, when Elon’s former girlfriend – herself arguably not the most convincing source necessarily – started saying things, that the media started paying some notice to the issue.

But then the matter was just dropped again without any follow-up.

Given the extent that the Democrats and the media establishment went to after the 2016 election to try to invalidate Trump’s first win by playing the ‘Russia-gate’ game, it’s highly odd that no one has pursued the suspicious behaviour around the 2024 election.

Whether you think the whole Russia-gate fiasco had any merit or was total bullshit, the point is that the same supposedly anti-Trump forces who pursued Russia-gate now had a much cleaner basis for questioning the validity of an election (with clues in relatively plain sight), but chose not to say anything.

Which, I maintain, seems suspicious.

But, suspecting as I did that Musk might’ve helped rig the vote, it was always funny watching him then proceed to traipse all over the White House for those first few months, clearly often to Trump’s annoyance.

How he got that black eye before being essentially expelled from the administration is still unknown. One would be tempted to think he might’ve threatened to go public – but probably not, since he would be at risk from any investigation or subsequent legal action.

Instead, he went for the petty ‘Trump’s in the Epstein Files’ tweet (which was itself disingenuous, as Elon was also in the Epstein Files, literally begging to be invited to Epstein Island).

At any rate, it looks like there’s not going to be any investigation into the 2024 election.

Just like there’s not going to be any real investigation into Butler, Pennsylvania and the staged assassination hoax.

But the only conclusion I’ve been able to come to concerning all of this is that Trump’s second term was preordained: it was scripted to happen, with all surface-level opposition being mere theater.

Putting the US elections aside, what’s also concerning is that Musk, having (possibly) successfully helped scam Trump into a second presidency, will be emboldened to try the same elsewhere.

Given his open alliances with entities like the AfD in Germany and ‘Tommy Robinson’ in the UK, there remains a possibility of underhanded techniques somehow being employed to service the agenda (beyond the obvious base-level practise of merely weaponising social media and misinformation).

Did Elon help fix the 2024 election for Trump? I thought so from the start.

Does anyone care? Apparently not really.

Maybe people have been lied to so often and about so many things by now that they don’t have the energy left to still be outraged.

But I’m still finding it curious that the matter is receiving so little attention.

But, so long as the matter remains largely unaddressed, the present and future integrity of American elections will remain dubious.

The results of these mid-terms might be vaguely interesting. But all of the predictions about newly emboldened Democrats pursuing legal cases against Trump and his administration will just be more theater if they don’t include any re-examination of both the 2024 election night and the Butler, Pennsylvania assassination hoax.

If they just end up staging something like a rerun of the Russia-gate fiasco, they might as well just stay at home.
