Trump & Epstein: It’s Been in Plain Sight, Stupid…

Trump, Melania, Epstein, Ghislaine

People’s stupidity genuinely baffles me sometimes.

Well, it’s either stupidity or wilful ignorance. Maybe even outright dishonesty.

As the fiery feud erupts between Trump and Elon Musk (as it was always going to), I’m going to ignore all the soap opera and focus in on one specific thing.

In a characteristically brash tweet, Musk essentially said the reason the Epstein files haven’t been released as promised is because Trump is in them.

What’s fascinating to me is not that he said this: it’s that all these Trump supporters and MAGA cultists are acting shocked or confused by that idea.

Have they been asleep? Or just hopelessly in denial?

Trump’s connections to Epstein have been known about for years.

I made a YouTube video about this right after Epstein’s ‘suicide’: but YouTube took down the video after a few days and put a strike on my channel.

Moreover, why was there so little response to the *audio interviews* of Epstein released several months ago?

You know, the recordings of Epstein himself, in which the late financier and sex trafficker says Trump was his ‘closest friend‘ for ten years?

Epstein even said the first time Trump slept with Melania was on the Lolita Express.

Why has there been barely any reaction at all to these Epstein recordings, either in the media or by the online MAGA faithful?

Shouldn’t this have been a massive story, especially given Trump’s own previous claims that he barely knew Epstein?

Well, clearly the reason for the silence is partisanship. They’ve gone out of their way for years to pretend that it’s all ‘leftists’ and ‘liberals’ that were involved with Epstein and Ghislaine. You know, the conservatives are the Good Guys and Trump is fighting the Deep State sex traffickers, etc?

It was never about a pursuit of truth or justice: but pure political games, using Epstein as a weapon to demonise their political enemies. That’s been the whole playbook: paint the ‘satanic’ liberals as the source of all evil and deny any hint of corruption or conspiracy on the Right.

Such content had already become extremely biased and unreliable years ago, framing everything in terms of the left versus the right – instead of dealing with the reality that the conspiracies in question have nothing to do with left or right, but stretch across the entire spectrum.

The reason that nonsensical term – “the liberal elite” –  became so prominent in right-wing commentary and in right-wing-based conspiracy theory content is because they’ve been running a campaign for several years now to create the impression that the so-called “liberal elite” are the problem – or that they (and they alone) ARE the ‘elite’. And that Conservatives and right-wing networks are the solution – or the ‘White Hats’, as they like to call it.

It was always BS, of course: a false, manufactured paradigm designed to entirely skew perception. It was also the basis of the QAnon nonsense as well: that Trump was the world saviour fighting the ‘satanic’ sex criminals.

Again, the levels of either cognitive dissonance or outright stupidity are extraordinary.

But is Trump named in the Epstein documents? It’s always been highly likely.

Let’s remember, by the way, that Virginia Giuffre (who apparently committed suicide weeks ago) was acquired by Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell specifically at Trump’s Mar-a-Lago resort.

That’s probably not a coincidence.

A Town and Country article from weeks before Epstein’s death explores Ghislaine Maxwell’s life and tells us that ‘like Epstein, her social circle also encompassed Britain’s Prince Andrew; a Palm Beach set which included Donald Trump; and the Clinton family.’

Hey, it’s Ghislaine!

In 2002, Trump told New York Magazine: I’ve known Jeff for 15 years. He’s a lot of fun to be with. It is even said that he likes beautiful women as much as I do, and many of them are on the younger side.”

Trump also brought Alex Acosta, the man who fought for Epstein’s prosecution deal in 2007, into his first White House administration.

Any notion that Trump wasn’t connected with Epstein, Ghislaine, Mossad and Israel, frankly takes extraordinary levels of cognitive dissonance at this stage. But watch right wing commentators and QAnon cultists continue to pretend not to notice.

The ongoing calls for the Jeffrey Epstein client list to be released – as the Trump cabal promised to do – have been met with continued obfuscation and sleight of hand.

The much hyped release of Epstein documents a few months ago was met with vocal dismay by MAGA supporters who were naively expecting major revelations. Instead, the release was mocked across the board as a non-event.

Even in the recent Joe Rogan Elon Musk interview, the Epstein list was discussed (around the 47 minute mark) – with the opportunity taken as usual by Musk to implicate only ‘liberal’ or ‘leftist’ opposition figures. Again, it shows the dishonesty all around when Musk made no mention of Trump being implicated during the Rogan interview: but has only done so now that he’s fallen out with the White House.

Hey look, it’s Elon and Ghislaine!

It’s also worth mentioning that, during his own massive Joe Rogan interview prior to the US presidential election, Trump’s response to the proposed release of Epstein documents was interesting. He promised to release JFK and MLK assassination documents, but when pressed about Epstein files, Trump basically said this would be more tricky because certain people would need to be protected from being named.

The idea, particularly when you hear the FBI or the authorities speaking about it, is that they want to protect the identities of the victims.

But surely files can be released with the victims identities redacted or blacked out, can’t they? You could easily reveal the clients while protecting the victims.

Anyway, putting all of that aside, the Trump/Elon falling-out is very good entertainment. It’s going to be fun watching guys like Alex Jones try to figure out who’s side they’re on now.

And they both need to be careful. Elon could decide to drop hints about how he (possibly) helped Trump rig the election, for one thing.

And I’m sure the White House has dirt on Elon too.

As for the Epstein files? Really, why is anyone really expecting anything?
