Epstein Island

It’s happened!

The whole Epstein conspiracy has been blown wide open! Justice prevails. The truth has finally been exposed. Finally, we can–

Oh, no, wait, sorry… what I meant to say was the exact opposite of all that.

Even by the standards of the Trump administration’s ceaseless comedy act, the handling of the whole Epstein business has been beyond farce.

After years of talking about the Epstein client list, then promising release of the Epstein Files, then doing a fake disclosure of files that were already publicly available, the DoJ and the MAGA administration has finally concluded the matter.

The conclusion? There is no Epstein List.

Oh, and Epstein definitely committed suicide in his cell. Definitely.

End of story. Nothing to see, move along.

Honestly, at this stage I’m more amused/entertained than angry. Why anyone thought this was going to go any differently has always been baffling to me – other than the obvious delusions of faithful cultists.

What’s funny is watching people scramble to make sense of their crumbling worldview. This is more ‘4D chess’, is it? Or should we continue to ‘trust the plan’?

You remember the ‘plan’, don’t you? You know, the ‘plan to save the world’? It was called ‘Q’ – a religion for idiots and LARPists.

Meanwhile, Trump’s Attorney General Pam Bondi went from saying there were “tens of thousands of videos” the FBI was going through (of Epstein and “children” and “child porn”) and also saying she had the infamous ‘list’ on her desk… to now  saying there is no list.

Was she hallucinating the documents on her desk then? I guess so.

The FBI’s Kash Patel and Dan Bongino (a right-wing radio host turned Trump appointee) went from saying for months that the Epstein documents needed to be made public – that the evil liberals and Democrats were implicated, and that the Biden administration was covering up the truth.

Both men are now insisting there is no list, no conspiracy, and that Epstein took his own life.

I’m sorry, but I never expected anything different: so, to me, this is all just funny by now.

Or at least it is until I remember all the young women who were trafficked and abused for decades. And all the compromised figures and leaders who’ve made decisions impacting millions of lives, who likely made some of those decisions based on blackmail.

But watch the devoted MAGA faithful search for some way to salvage their dumb cult from the ruins of this absurd theater. They always do.

If the total collapse of the QAnon Psy-Op on January 6th 2021 wasn’t enough to end the mass delusion, then nothing will do it.

And that’s without even factoring in that Trump himself (Epstein’s ‘closest friend’ for a decade) is more likely than anyone else to be implicated in the Epstein list or compromised in the videos (see here).

Alex Jones and the other Psy-Op merchants are going to have to measure their fake responses carefully to salvage what tiny credibility they still have with their followers – all of them, Jones included, have insisted for years that Trump was going to ‘expose the elite pedophiles’ and reveal the Epstein clients and connections.

It was in fact a central, foundational part of the whole deluded narrative: Trump and co were going to expose the ‘Satanic’ Deep State child-trafficking networks. ‘It’s going to happen any day now, folks…’

It’s amazing how often these people can be completely wrong about everything and still be able to maintain their lucrative grifting operations.

Or how often they can lie to their followers and still manage to maintain the cult.

By the way, if you want comedy, check out Alex Jones’s fake meltdown video over the Epstein announcement: it’s even funnier than his performance after the fake Trump assassination drama last year, where he pretended to be worried the assassins would be coming after him next (I actually covered that here).

Or watch Ben Shapiro, straight-faced, tell his audience that they should trust this final verdict on the Epstein business and not speculate further.

It’s becoming comedy gold. I don’t understand how all these ‘influencers’ are still going. I guess they’re just very well funded from behind the scenes.

Also, this tidy conclusion to the Epstein business was accompanied by the release of a video purportedly showing Epstein entering his cell. Whatever this footage shows, it’s clearly been edited – and, as people quickly noted, it has had a minute removed from it, as evidenced by a blatant skip in the video’s visible clock/timer.

It’s baffling why they even released such a bad video – a video that neither proves nor disproves anything and which actually makes things worse rather than better.

Maybe they’re trolling.

It’s also funny that this apparently definitive Epstein epilogue comes days after the ‘Diddy’ trial concluded seemingly with the best possible outcome for the entertainment industry mogul – and with the whole process having failed to implicate or expose any other participants or high profile figures.

Let’s also not forget the apparent suicide of Virginia Giuffre a few months ago – in the midst of this drawn-out Trump/Epstein prevarication. Giuffre, let’s never forget, was acquired by Epstein and Maxwell at Trump’s Mar-a-Lago resort.

Her death, and the strange car accident that preceded it, seems more suspicious as time goes on. I already thought so at the time.

Face reality: there was never going to be any disclosure. Like everything else in MAGA land, it’s all been a grift, a manipulation.

When Trump said releasing the Epstein files would be problematic for some people because of “phony information”, he obviously wasn’t talking about his political enemies, but about himself and some of his allies.

Also, note that this Epstein announcement came the day Benjamin Netanyahu arrived in Washington to meet with the President. Coincidence?

Maybe. But Epstein and Ghislaine were both Mossad-connected, so it’s not like there isn’t a link.

What else is there to say?

I’ve said before, I’m almost convinced that Epstein isn’t dead and that he and Ghislaine are possibly safely in Israel. Maybe they’ll be sipping margaritas with Trump and Bibi in Trump’s luxury resort in Gaza.

That would actually be the perfect final scene in this movie.

By the way, what happened to Epstein Island? Is it still in use? Who takes care of it? I looked that up and couldn’t really find anything.

In more general terms, this whole affair should really jettison whatever credibility the Trump administration, the likes of Kash Patel and Dan Bongino, and the Republicans still somehow have with their supporters.

But it won’t. Again, they’ll always find a way to make it work: to make it make sense again.

That kind of devotion, that dogged determination to maintain an illusory reality, is actually impressive.

At any rate, a line appears to have now been definitively drawn under the whole Epstein affair, the matter seemingly closed for good.

‘There is no Epstein List’ seems to be the final word. Move along, nothing more to see.

Oh yes, and ‘Trust the Plan’. Always ‘Trust the Plan’.
