I had not heard of this podcast presenter before and I found him and his life stories that he shared throughout the podcast interview to be interesting, especially as it spoke to what appears to be a different time entirely. For instance, where in the ‘western world’ today can you hear from word-of-mouth of possible job opportunities through new industry up the road. And then you take it upon yourself as a young man to pack a satchel, hitch hike yourself there on a whim of hopefully finding a job as chef or handyman. No Linkedin, no Google, no social media, no Google Maps, even!
I hadn’t heard of ID2020 before, that was something. More shockingly, just when I thought I had heard it all before, I had NEVER heard of that Israeli spy ring during 9/11! 😮

Yeah, the old days when you could just go somewhere on a whim and hand in your CV or ask about job vacancies. I wonder when the last time was that anyone tried to do that over here. I thought it was amazing that he was an eyewitness of sorts to the Lockerbie bombing: or at least to the aftermath.
